Protected Customer Data — Ad Pilot

Level 0 — no protected customer data requested

What Ad Pilot accesses

• Economics you type in: your average order value, gross margin, and optional variable cost per order. This is the only data Ad Pilot holds about your business, and you enter it yourself.
• Your store domain and currency (from the Shopify install).
• No advertising data. Ad Pilot has no connection to Google Ads or any ad platform; the ad metrics displayed in the app are a generated demonstration dataset, not your data.

What Ad Pilot does NOT access

• No Shopify data scopes. Ad Pilot requests zero Shopify access scopes — it does not read your products, orders, or customers. All ad data comes from your own connected Google Ads account; your economics are typed in.
• Orders. We do not request the read_orders scope.
• Customers. We do not request the read_customers scope and store no customer names, emails, addresses, or any PII.

Data retention & deletion

We store only aggregate ad metrics and the economics you enter, tied to your shop. On uninstall, your shop's data is deleted via the shop/redact webhook (~48h after uninstall). The mandatory customers/data_request and customers/redact webhooks are answered truthfully: Ad Pilot holds no customer data.
